Places to eat or drink: (warning, always confirm the price of fresh fish dishes before you order. some restaurants will charge by weight and it can become very expensive) Expect to be asked to eat at every single restaurant you pass, they all have staff on the street who try and entice you in. Just smile and walk by, or negotiate a discount...........they are all very polite

- Cinarli Pinar Fish restaurant - turn left out of the apartment gates and drive approx 6km up into the mountains. Eat fresh fish in a treehouse.
- Canyon park - before you get to Cinarli Pinnar (eat, fish and sunbathe)
Taxis: Readily available in the main square and outside some supermarkets and a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Bus station: Opposite main square and clocktower.
Supermarkets : Sok, Migros, Tansas, Bim (two small general stores are also within 2-3 minutes walk)
Market Day : Monday, opposite Tansas supermarket. Offers a wide range of fruit and vegetables. you must go and have a wander around, it is very inexpensive. Wednesday in Camyuva.
Barter: despite what shopkeepers may say........none of the clothing is original. Offer below what you think it is worth and settle for something in the middle.
Currency: Turkish Lire, Euros, US Dollars are all accepted. Several bureau de change shops are located in Kemer town. Travellers cheques are not popular and you will pay quite a high exchange commission fee.
